Why Sapkota CPA, PLLC

A small business is easily served last. It should not be.

When the fee is billed by the hour, a messy month costs more than a quiet one. When the return is priced after the work, the bill arrives as a surprise in April. When the IRS letter is hard to read, it stays in the envelope. We work the other way round.

We agree the price first

A fixed monthly fee for bookkeeping and a written quote for each return, set in an engagement letter before we start. If your scope changes, we agree the new fee with you first.

A CPA does the work

A licensed CPA keeps your books, prepares your returns and answers your questions, so you always know who is looking after your numbers.

We explain it in your language

English, Nepali or Hindi. Send us a notice from the IRS or the Texas Comptroller and you get back what it says, what it means and what to do next.

AI in our work

AI built into the process, not just a chat window

Many firms use AI to look things up. We build it into the work itself, together with our own Python scripts and Excel macros: the tools that code transactions, match deposits and prepare recurring entries for your books. A CPA reviews every result before it reaches your financial statements or a tax return.

Automated matching

Bank, card and payment-processor deposits are matched line by line against your sales records. Anything that doesn't match is flagged for review instead of slipping through.

Consistent entries

Recurring, payroll and accrual entries are generated from your source reports the same way every month, which cuts down on the manual keying where most bookkeeping errors start.

A CPA signs off

The tools suggest; a CPA reviews, corrects and approves. Nothing is filed or reported on automated output alone.

Your data stays in access-controlled accounting and tax systems. We do not paste client records into public AI chat tools.

Who keeps your books

One licensed CPA, start to finish.

Twelve monthly closes from January to December, each checked off

Your books and returns are handled by a CPA licensed in Texas who is also a Chartered Accountant, with more than 11 years in accounting, financial reporting and internal audit across the United States, Australia, India and Nepal.

That experience covers month-end close, U.S. GAAP and IFRS reporting, multi-entity and intercompany accounting, payroll and franchise royalty accounting, and six years of risk-based internal audit in banking. We build our own Python scripts and Excel macros to automate reconciliations and journal entries, so routine steps run the same way every month.

FAQ

Questions about working with a CPA in Texas

How much does a CPA cost in Texas?

Our bookkeeping starts at $200 a month. The final fee depends on transaction volume, number of accounts, payroll, sales tax filings and the state of your records. Tax returns are quoted in writing based on the forms and schedules you need. You see the price before any work starts.

Can I switch CPAs in the middle of the year?

Yes. We take over from your current balances and prior-year returns, and coordinate the handover of documents with your previous preparer.

Do you work with clients outside Bedford?

Yes. The work is online, so you don't need to be local. In the Hurst–Euless–Bedford area we can also meet in person by appointment.

Texas has no state income tax. Why do I need a CPA?

Federal returns still apply, and most Texas entities file a franchise tax report every May. Businesses that sell taxable goods or services also file sales and use tax returns. Getting these right, and planning for them, is where a CPA helps.

Do you do audits or reviews?

No. We do not perform attest services such as audits, reviews or compilations. If a lender needs one, we can help you prepare and refer you to a firm that does.

What do I need to get started?

Last year's tax returns, access to your bank and card statements, your EIN if you have a business, and your receipts and invoices in digital form.
