What we prepare
- Form 1040 for individuals and married couples
- Schedule C for sole proprietors and single-member LLCs, with Schedule SE for self-employment tax
- Schedule D for sales of stock, crypto and other investments
- Schedule E for rental property and K-1 income from partnerships and S corporations
- Quarterly estimated tax figures and extensions (Form 4868)
Texas has no state income tax — but your federal return still matters
Texas does not tax personal income, so most Texans file only a federal return. That return still decides your refund or balance due, your self-employment tax, and the estimated payments you owe for next year. If you moved to Texas during the year, the state you left may still expect a part-year return.
Documents to bring

- Form 1098 for mortgage interest, 1098-T for tuition, 1095-A if you bought insurance on the Marketplace
- Records of business income and expenses if you are self-employed
- Records of estimated tax payments you made during the year
